Ilana specializes in Thai Massage and Thai Foot Reflexology as well as Neuromuscular Therapy and Connective tissue/ Fascia Therapy.
Thai Massage is deeply calming and meditative massage, the client wears loose, comfortable clothes, and lies on a mat on the floor or amassage table. The client may be positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions but deep static and rhythmic pressures form the core of the massage. The body will be energized and rejuvenated after the massage. No oils will be used.
Thai Foot Reflexology is a manual therapy for the feet, lower legs and knees. Utilizing stretching and a variety of manual techniques, including the use of a specifically tooled wooden stick with oils. Thai reflexology seeks to restore balance within the body’s 72,000 sen lines (energy lines)
Focusing on points to remove energy blockages and strengthening the flow of lom (energy) within the sen. With that accomplished, the body is then free to restore itself and to correct whatever imbalances are present.
